If you own land in East Tennessee, we will build your dream home on it. Our build radius is within 75 miles of New Tazewell, Tennessee, with the exception that we do not build in Virginia or Kentucky.

When you build with Five Star, we handle all necessary permits for you—one less thing on your plate. That being said, below are a few things you’ll want to consider before we get going:
- Do you have a land survey on file?
- Septic or sewer? This choice can greatly affect the cost and timeline for construction. If you have a septic system, you will need to conduct a perc test or soil study.
- Electric infrastructure
- Water infrastructure
- Confirm road access
- Speak with your lender about construction financing
- Plan to clear and grade your home site for construction
